"Chicken Roulade....this is a highly recommended dish...chicken leg is very tender and not dry at all despite being baked !...the bacon and spinach adds to the overall taste...and the sauce + advocado salad really makes this a natural favourite and all time winner. "

“Desserts at Absolute Haven are not to be missed. The Crepes Haven is absolutely fascinating, with thin and soft crepes accompanied by wild berry sauce, vanilla ice cream and strawberries. It comes with cherry brandy, too, which is set on fired while pouring it over the crepe, to form a flaming dessert!”

“The Stellar Artois-battered fish and chips (S$16) was also thoroughly enjoyable. The tissue-thin layer of golden batter around the four slabs of red snapper, rendered extra crispy by the beer’s yeast, was not greasy at all.”

“Phyllis is the most unpretentious host I’ve ever come across. Really. She comes forth as a very earnest and affable lady who manifests so much warmth and trueness in her demeanor the only reason I could think of being her so is her genuineness in wanting her customers to enjoy their dining experiences here. There was so much goodwill and passion in her I can almost taste her sincerity in the food and this certainly upped the ante on my virgin visit to this dining haven. I mourn the demise of such fervor and modesty in the local F&B arena especially so of local endeavors, and such display of Phyllis’ and her crew’s forthrightness must be the paradigm for all dining establishments in Singapore.” – Ice

“I felt that Phyllis genuinely wants her customers to enjoy their experience and not just be nice to chalk up points. The staff were polite, friendly and I remember them from my last visit a few months back.
That says a lot about an establishment. Many have everchanging staffs either due to unreliable staff or the staff were not happy working there.
